The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) welcomes you to apply for a Media Credential to the 2025 TOP 100 Camp taking place in Rock Hill, SC. This is a private event and not open to the general public. Thus, it requires that all attendees register in advance and be officially approved in order to attend.

Media Credentials will be issued at the discretion of the NBPA to working members of the media on assignment for legitimate media outlets. No freelancers without an official assignment will be admitted. Please do not book travel until you have received an official credential confirmation. Approval in past years does not guarantee access in 2025.

CREDENTIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

This credential is issued for the sole purpose of providing gym access to an individual (the “Bearer”) who is working on an assignment for a legitimate news organization, an authorized provider of services (as employee or agent), or an authorized scout in connection with the National Basketball Players Association (the “NBPA”) 2024 Top 100 High School Basketball Camp (the “Camp”). This credential is non-transferable, and any unauthorized use of this credential or violation of its terms may subject the Bearer and/or the assigning news organization to ejection from the arena/venue, revocation of the credential, denial of access to NBPA events/venues, prosecution for civil or criminal trespass, and any other remedies available under applicable law.

Unless expressly authorized in writing by the NBPA, the use, distribution, exhibition, reproduction, adaptation, display, performance, or publication in any form of any photograph, drawing, account, or description of any excerpt of the foregoing taken or made by the Bearer or their assigning news organization shall be limited to news coverage by the assigning news organization to which this credential is issued (“Highlights”). All ownership, copyright, and property rights in the Highlights and in any telecast, broadcast, transmission, or recording thereof shall remain the sole property of the NBPA and no such rights are conferred, or intended to be conferred, to, or created on behalf of, the Bearer or any other person or entity by the issuance of this credential. The Bearer is prohibited from using any logo, mark, or other intellectual property of NBPA without NBPA prior written approval.

This credential and the Bearer's access to the arena/venue are subject to all safety and health requirements and policies, including requirements relating to face masks, COVID-19 testing, and COVID-19 vaccinations put in place by the NBPA and the arena/venue (all such safety and health requirements and policies, as they may be updated from time to time in the sole discretion of the NBPA and/or the arena/venue, the “Safety Requirements”). The Bearer acknowledges and agrees to comply with the Safety Requirements (including all requirements that must be satisfied prior to the event) and attendance is conditioned on such compliance. The Bearer expressly acknowledges an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people gather and that no precautions (including the Safety Requirements) can eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

The Bearer of this credential and their employer or assigning news organization: (i) assume all risk incident of the performance of services by the Bearer, assume all risk incident to the Bearer's attendance (including, without limitation, personal injury (including death), sickness (including illness and other risks of exposure to COVID-19, or any other communicable disease or illness, or a bacteria, virus or other pathogen capable of causing a communicable disease or illness), lost, stolen, damaged, or confiscated property, and all other hazards arising from, or related in any way to, the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event), in each case, howsoever caused, whether by negligence or otherwise; and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the NBPA, its members, officers, employees, staff, and agents from and against all liability, loss, damage, or expense resulting from or arising out of (a) the Bearer's presence at the arena/venue, (b) the Bearer's acts or omissions, or (c) the presence at an arena/venue of any cameras, wires, cabling, or other equipment brought on the premises or used by the Bearer; and (ii) grant permission to the NBPA, its affiliates, and their respective designees to utilize, without compensation or further consent, the Bearer's image, likeness, and/or voice in any photograph or live or recorded video or audio display or other transmission or reproduction of any excerpt thereof for any purpose.

The NBPA may at any time revoke any of the rights granted under this credential for any reason in its sole discretion. In case of any dispute regarding the terms and conditions of this agreement, New York law will apply. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this credential, or the breach thereof, shall be determined by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures and provided nothing herein shall bar NBPA from seeking injunctive relief in emergent circumstances, including the dissemination of its intellectual property or confidential information.

The Bearer's use of this credential is contingent on execution of a confidentiality agreement provided by NBPA and agreement to abide by any Camp guidelines (as they may be updated from time to time in the sole discretion of the NBPA and/or the arena/venue). Acceptance of this credential constitutes agreement by the Bearer and their employer or assigning news organization to abide by the foregoing conditions and the conditions on reporting and transmitting updates regarding games in progress that are displayed in the arena/venue.

No autographs are allowed. Copying, duplicating, or otherwise reproducing or distributing this credential or its image in any manner, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited.
